Short-drama CPS promotion pays commission on verified paid results, not on a simple click, a visit to a download page, an installation or a registration. A promotion partner sends users through a dedicated tracking path. Only when the user completes a qualifying payment and the brand confirms and attributes that result does it enter commission calculation.
That is the central difference between short-drama CPS and install- or registration-based models: they measure different stages of the user journey. A click, redirect or installation cannot automatically be treated as payable commission.
Short-drama CPS focuses on whether the user actually pays
A user may first discover a short drama through social media, a content site or an advertisement, then follow a promotion link, open or install the product, watch free episodes and finally decide whether to recharge, subscribe or unlock paid content. Each step can matter, but under CPS the payable event is the valid payment confirmed under the program rules.
DOLO PROMO’s current short-drama and fiction partnerships are primarily CPS. Promotion partners choose their own channels and traffic methods. We calculate commission only on accurately attributed paid results confirmed by brand data. The qualifying event may differ by program and can include a sale, recharge, subscription or another agreed payment.
What CPI, CPA and CPS settle on
These models are not inherently better or worse; they settle on different events and allocate risk differently.
CPI: the confirmed event is a verified installation. It answers whether promotion generated a qualifying new install.
CPA: the confirmed event is an agreed registration or other action. It answers whether the user completed the predefined step.
CPS: the confirmed event is a valid payment approved by the brand. It answers whether promotion generated a real sale, recharge, subscription or another agreed paid result.
Therefore, when a program settles on CPS, installation or registration alone does not mean that commission has been earned.
How a short-drama CPS promotion becomes commission
The partner receives the current promotion link, available materials and program information. The user enters the brand product through that dedicated path and may later complete the agreed paid action. The brand confirms the paid result, DOLO PROMO attributes it to the correct partner, and the result is returned and reconciled under the agreed process.
A dedicated link and click ID help identify which partner should receive an attributed paid result. They carry attribution information, but a click does not prove that the user has installed, registered or paid.
Actions that do not automatically generate CPS commission
Under DOLO PROMO’s current CPS partnerships, seeing promotional content, clicking a link, reaching a download page, installing or opening an app, or registering without a qualifying payment does not independently create payable commission. A payment that cannot be attributed and confirmed under the agreed program rules is also not automatically payable.
Some programs also account for refunds, cancellations or chargebacks during final reconciliation. Commission rate, calculation basis, reporting timing and settlement conditions are confirmed for each program rather than assumed to be identical across all brands.
Why promotion partners still choose CPS
CPS connects commission to real revenue. For content publishers, media teams, buyers and independent partners that can influence viewing interest and purchase decisions, competitive commission can leave room for content production and traffic testing. Verified paid results, clear attribution and reliable reporting also help partners judge long-term fit.
High commission is an advantage, but it must be real. DOLO PROMO does not use fabricated orders, exaggerated conversion rates or unverifiable earnings claims to attract partners. We prioritize verifiable brand data, clear program conditions and sustainable cooperation.
What DOLO PROMO provides to promotion partners
We provide access to current short-drama, fiction and other available programs, organized program information and distributable materials, dedicated promotion paths, multilingual options, click ID attribution, validated paid-result reporting and partnership support. Partners can explore multiple programs through one cooperation entry point instead of sourcing and integrating each brand separately.
If you operate a content site, social account, community, paid traffic source or another compliant promotion channel, tell us about your audience, format, target language and market. We will help identify which currently available programs are most suitable to test.
